What this guide is about, in real life.

Two prices, one contract

1 short paragraph

The promo price applies for a set number of months. After that the standard price applies. A plan can look cheapest during the promo and be more expensive overall than a plan with a steadier price.

How the length of the promo matters

1 short paragraph

A short promo on a long contract means most months are at the standard price. A promo that covers most of the contract changes the picture far more. This is why we blend both prices across the whole comparison term.

What to check before you sign

2 short paragraphs

Look for how many months the promo lasts, what the standard price is, and whether the standard price can change during the contract. If any of these is unclear on the provider's page, treat the total as uncertain and ask the provider.

We show the promo and standard prices side by side where we have both. Where we do not know one of them, the comparison says so.

Common questions

Will my price definitely stay at the standard price?

We cannot know that. We use the standard price in the offer data. Providers may have terms that allow changes, so read the contract terms for the plan you choose.
